Afternoon Tea

Afternoon Tea became a British institution in the early 19th century, said to have started when the Duchess of Bedford started to invite friends to her Woburn Abbey home for a pot of tea and a little something.

Whilst a robust black tea might be needed to kick start the day, we think a lighter black tea is perfect for the afternoon and we have a variety to choose from, including a wonderful second flush Darjeeling tea.
